URGENT NEED for believers in Malawi, Africa and how to help

Did you know that a cyclone hit the eastern coast of Africa a few weeks ago? According to meteorologists, Cyclone Freddy was the longest-lasting and most traveled tropical cyclone ever recorded. Not only were meteorological records broken but a path of destruction to homes, churches and businesses in some of the poorest countries in the world were left in its wake. Hundreds of people died in Mozambique, Madagascar, and Malawi.

The hardest hit country was Malawi where over 500 people are confirmed dead (with estimates expected to climb) and almost a million people affected with destroyed homes. Malawi was still recovering from a Cholera outbreak and is already one of the poorest countries in the world.

Scott and Laura are scheduled to travel and train in Malawi, departing on April 27th. Beyond bringing training to church leaders, we would also like to help in whatever physical ways we are able.
